雨停了，风还在吹，空气也显得那样潮湿、凝重，浮动着丝丝凉意，不知什么时候已打湿了我的脸颊，心中便不觉凄凉起来。
我不由得想起小时候在家里收玉米的情景来：下午一放学，便背上背篓奔向玉米地，把玉米棒子一个一个地从秸秆上掰下来，一背篓一背篓的背回家来。到了晚上，一家人就坐在一起剥玉米了，用两手的拇指和食指捏住玉米棒的开穗处，稍一用力就撕开了，去掉多余的包皮，留下一绺来，然后把十几个去了皮的玉米棒子挽在一起，一撮一撮地挂在屋檐下让太阳烘干。剥玉米是个单调的活儿，一个又一个，时间一长，我便瞌睡了，不停的打盹，这时母亲就会讲些古经（也就是古时候的事：什么王翔卧冰、丁郎刻母之类的，那时候我听的懵懵懂懂的）来哄我，或者拿出珍藏了一向的苹果来犒劳我。若是挑拣出一些鲜嫩的玉米棒子来，煮上一锅，待火候一到，随便拿上一个，用牙一咬，甜美的汁水就会流出来，谁见了都会胃口大开的。
这都是已尘封在记忆中的事了。自从离家上学直到参加工作以来，再也没有这样的经历，所以秋天对我来说就一直那么不可捉摸。从教以来，一直做着和剥玉米一样的呆板、乏味工作，可再没人讲古经给我听了，所以一直拖着疲惫的身躯，在三尺讲台上挣扎、拼搏了十几年，而今已到不惑之年，却依然行囊空空、一事无成。于是，有人调侃地对我说，四十岁的人了，到现在还没整出点动静来，今后就别难为自己了，放松心情，好好活着吧。
凭栏远眺，看着眼前殷实、忙碌的秋天，我不由得自惭形秽。人生一世，草木一秋，我们的人生何尝不是四季：童年似春，富于幻想，播种希望；青年似夏，充满激情，拼搏未来；中年如秋，收获成果，品尝成就；老年如冬，韶华尽逝，空余沧桑。春华秋实，秋天应该是一个收获的时节，而我呢，我去收获什么呢？我能体会成功的喜悦吗？
于是，就把秋字装在了心中，化成了愁绪，淡淡的、清凉地萦绕在心头，似云雾一样笼罩。所幸我还没用完全失去灵性，每当这个时候，就会有一种冲动，用一支笔，铺一张纸，写下一段并不清秀的文字，以聊以自慰、寻找一点温暖吧。
就在我思绪飘忽的时候，阳光，久违的阳光已照遍了山川大地，一切都温暖了起来。
我想，我该回去了，找一支笔，给心灵的航船装载阳光，让自己也温暖起来吧。
