Why we are not entering into a recession!!

I found it quite a struggle to decide which topic to write about in this weeks article as there are a couple of things that have really made my blood boil, but I decided in the end to write about this so-called recession that the

media would have us believe is just around the corner. One of the reasons I wanted to write about this subject is because Ive had quite a few emails asking why I havent written an article on the current economic climate, so I

thought Id address it this week.

The main reason I havent written an article is quite simply because I dont believe a recession exists or even that were close to one. Before I have 1,001 emails back telling me why Im wrong. Let me explain what I do think is out

there.

I do think that we have a credit crunch in that its more difficult to borrow money if you need to. Notice though that I said more difficult and not impossible. It is definitely possible to borrow money, but it might take longer and you

may have to shop around a bit more to find the best deal.

I also do believe that some industries are having a bit of a hard time at the moment like construction.

But mostly I believe that our wonderful media is doing a very good job of trying to talk us into a recession. Lets face it they have a 24-hour media channel to fill not to mention countless newspapers and magazines. I know very

well that if we write a press release on something negative in the economy, its almost guaranteed to get into the papers at the moment, but that doesnt mean its real.

The effect of all of this is that I think people in general are a little bit more cautious on what they spend their money on. This doesnt mean they dont have any money they most definitely do it just means that theyre thinking

twice before deciding whether or not to spend money on something.

Does this mean you should close the doors of your business and go out and get a job? Absolutely not!! The key to getting through this media driven frenzy is to stay really positive. As someone said to me once:

"If you think there will be a recession in your business, there definitely will be."

In other words, stop listening to all the media talk, stay positive and believe that you will be successful this year. By simply adopting this attitude, weve already achieved our turnover from last year and are currently expanding

(more news about our new member of our team next month).

Come on, you can do it too but you must really believe that you can do well at the moment (not just a half-hearted agreement) or this positive attitude is not going to work for you. Stay positive and ignore all those people who

do believe a recession is just around the corner.

Id love to hear your stories of how well youve been doing too send them over to me at helen.dowling@exceptionalthinking.co.uk.

Symptoms Of Whiplash

Better education on symptoms of whiplash has become an arch need, with the skyrocketing increase in the number of whiplash injuries. As a result of a sudden backward movement and then forward movement of the neck,

when you car is rear ended, defines a whiplash injury. Various symptoms start to show from 6 to 12 hours after the accident has happened. Worse symptoms might take days and sometimes even years to show up. Most often

we tend to brush off minor symptoms because, certain soft tissue injuries don't show in X-rays or radiography. Radio imaging shows a better insight of the injury.

Most common symptoms of whiplash are centered in and on the neck area. When no bones are broken and the head doesn't strike the windshield, there is a 62% to 98% chance of ending up in the following symptoms: -

1. Neck pain/stiffness. 2. Swelling around the neck. 3. Tenderness or numbness along the back of the neck. 4. Loss of movement.

With 40% chance the second most common symptom is lower back pain, with tenderness or stiffness. This might be a result of various degrees of injury done to the disc, facet joints, lower back or sacroiliac joints. Muscle

tears are often felt as a burning, prickling or immingling sensation. More severe disc damages are felt as sharp pain following certain movements. When talking about the shoulder pain, it is symptomatic of a radiating pain

starting from the back of the neck to the center of the shoulder blades.

66% to 70% of the victims experience headache, which might be felt on one or both side, sometime on a particular spot. It occurs on and off or persists for weeks after the accident. Dizziness is one other symptom that occurs

in 50% of the people, lasting for a week. With no known cause, blurred vision seems to be seen in 10% of those who had a whiplash injury, but it usually clears out quickly.

Symptoms of whiplash are not exclusive to the neck but affect a whole range of joints, muscles, soft tissues and ligaments. Other possible symptoms are: -

1. Nervousness/irritability, 2. Difficulty in swallowing, 3. Sleep disturbance, 4. Fatigue, 5. Tinnitus-ringing in the ears, 6. Anger/stress, 7. Drug dependency, 8. Social isolation, 9. Nausea, 10. Vertigo.

In case of poor or untreated injuries, symptoms lead to somatic, cognitive and psychological conditions, characteristic of memory loss, concentration impairment and irritability.

Symptoms of whiplash may resemble other problems, so always consult a doctor to be on a safer side. Fortunately with time, most of the symptoms of whiplash and whiplash related disease tend to disappear. A sound

education on whiplash symptoms, diagnosis and treatment is all that you need for a complete recovery.

To recover from any sort of whiplash injury you should know the extent of your injury and should be aware of all the symptoms of whiplash. To recover faster it is a must that you get back to your normal schedule at the

earliest. Make sure that you file your compensation claim and always consult a no win no fee solicitor to brighten your chances for a victory.

A Brief Overview of Conveyancing in the UK

Conveyancing is a legal term describing the transfer of title of property from one person to another. In simplest terms, conveyancing is the process whereby one person buys and takes ownership of a property from another

person.

Conveyancing can also be used in reference to the granting of an encumbrance against a property, such as in the case of a mortgage or a lien.

Conveyancing is also often used in the context of moving bulk commodities, as well as in the context of providing public services like water, electricity and gas. But these uses of the term conveyancing are beyond the scope of

this article, which will deal solely with conveyancing as it pertains to real estate.

History of Conveyancing

The modern system of conveyancing is rooted in English legal systems dating back to 1290 that are now referred to as "Old System Title."

Old System Title was an overly complicated system that required a series of different kinds of documents to establish proof of ownership.

In 1857 the system was greatly simplified by Sir Robert Torrens of Australia when he introduced the Real Property Act, which provided land owners with a single title certificate. The concept of the Real Property Act, more

commonly known as the Torrens system of title registration, was quickly adopted by England, New Zealand and parts of Canada and the United States.

The Conveyancing Process

The conveyancing process has three stages: 'before contract,' 'before completion' and 'after completion.' During the process, there are two major milestones: the exchange of contracts and the completion of title transfer.

During the 'before contract' stage, it is prudent for the buyer to ensure that the seller is in fact the legal owner of the property, has the right to sell the property, and that there are no other factors involved that would later

prevent the buyer from obtaining a mortgage on or re-selling the property.

The modern conveyancing process itself is designed to ensure that the buyer is obtaining not only title but all other rights to the property. Any possible restrictions on those rights must be made clear prior to the exchange of

contracts, the point at which the transaction becomes legally binding.

Hiring a Solicitor

Despite the aforementioned simplification of property transfer, conveyancing can still be a somewhat complicated process, and certainly one where mistakes or overlooked details can have far-reaching consequences. As

such, most people, while legally entitled to conduct their own conveyancing, turn to a solicitor or licensed conveyancer to handle the process.

After the buyer and seller negotiate an acceptable price for the property, both sides hire a solicitor or conveyancer. The seller's solicitor prepares a draft contract for the sale of property, which must then be either approved

or amended by the buyer's solicitor. This process ensures that all rough edges are worked out before the legally-binding exchange of contracts.

Use EBay for build your list!

The internet marketing mantra is "the money is in the list" There are all kinds of suggestions and strategies, courses and ebooks, videos and audios that will tell you the secrets to building a list.

Basically they all boil down to a common strategy, get targeted leads to visit your sign up page, otherwise known as a squeeze page, and get those leads to subscribe to your list. The trick is finding the targeted traffic and

convincing them to visit your squeeze page.

A huge resource of traffic that is highly segregated into groups or niches, is often left out of the mix. A common marketing expression is fish where the fish are, which means go to where your target lead is hanging out. The

biggest pool of fish in the internet world is Ebay. The great thing about the traffic on Ebay, they are already searching for things to buy.

Ebay is the largest marketplace in the world. Ebay says that during any given month, one third of all internet traffic goes to Ebay. There are millions of customers on Ebay every day just looking to spend money. Those

customers are self segregating. With the Ebay category system, you can pretty much target in on almost any niche you can think of.

The person looking for watches is going to be browsing the watches category. The buyer looking for sunglasses will be in the sunglass category. The person looking for information products will be in the information product

category.

If you are selling ebooks, it's the information product category that you should be interested in. Prospective buyers who are in essence looking for ebooks and are ready to buy. How much more of a targeted audience do you

need?

This method does not have to be limited to ebooks, although they seem to work the best in terms of list building from Ebay. You can build a list from any category your product would fit into.

What you need to do is entice the buyers browsing your category to visit your website. Now Ebay does not let you link to any external sites from auction pages but Ebay does allow you to link to external sites from your About

Me page. As part of your auction sales copy, suggest they visit your About Me page where they can learn about you and find out how to get a free report.

On your About Me page you can offer a free report or ebook or anything else you think would entice your buyers to click the link you have on you About Me page that will take them to your squeeze page. Now you have

leveraged your Ebay traffic and converted it into your website traffic.

As I said you can do this for any category. If you are selling watches, you might give away a report on use and care of watches, or history of watchmaking, or any information related to watches that your customers might be

interested in.

Even though any category can take advantage of this enormous traffic machine called Ebay, the ebook business seems to work the best. If you are selling information products you have another way to build your list in

addition to using your About Me page.

You can sell ebooks at very low prices to entice customers to buy. Then when it is time to deliver the product, you can send them to a download page where you provide them with an extra bonus for subscribing to your list.

Just another way to get targeted traffic on your list using the incredible traffic on Ebay.

As part of your overall strategy, you should include Ebay in your traffic generating system. Remember, you need to fish where the fish are and Ebay is the biggest pool of fish in the world.

5 Steps To Help You Solve The Question Of How To Sell My Ferrari?

When asking yourself "How can I sell my Ferrari," there are several things you will want to take into consideration. This is not just any other car that you are getting off of your hands. This is an exotic car that can sell for a

hefty price tag if you are smart. And in order to find a Ferrari buyer, you want to be careful about how you sell the car. Here are five steps to take when selling your Ferrari."

1. Getting it ready The first step to selling a Ferrari is to get it ready. You want to make sure all of the ownership papers and service records are in order to give to the Ferrari buyer. You want to make sure it is running fine

and give it a nice cleaning. Essentially, you want the car to be in its best condition so it is at its most desirable state.

2. Pricing the car The next step to selling a Ferrari is to price it. This can be a difficult step because it is an exotic car, but you want to set a price that you believe you can find people to buy your Ferrari. It is difficult finding the

balance between too much and too little.

The best way to go about pricing the car is to look in as many ads as possible. You want to see what other people are pricing their Ferraris at to get a basis of what you can sell yours for. In addition to looking at ads, you can

also look on autotrader.com and cars.com to find additional listings. You will also want to take into consideration anything you have added to the car to increase the value.

3. Once you have set a price and have placed an ad wherever you choose to post it, the next step to finding a Ferrari buyer is handling the calls. You have to be open to take calls whenever possible so you can talk with

potential buyers. You never know how long it is going to take to actually sell the vehicle, but you have to be ready at all times.

When talking with potential buyers, be courteous and open to answer any questions they may have. Be upfront and honest with them so they know the true condition of the car. Lying is going to get you nowhere as they are

eventually going to see the car. Lastly, be open to set up a time for people to come and look at the car and get the feel of it.

4. Patience As mentioned above, you never know how long it is going to take to sell a Ferrari. It can be difficult to remain patient, but that is exactly what you must do when selling an exotic car for such a high price. Most

people are not willing or capable of spending over a 100,000 for a car.

If you are still not receiving as many offers as you had hoped after awhile, do not be afraid to look for another ad. The more ads you have in different magazines and papers, the better chance you have of people seeing it.

Just remain confident that you will find the right person who is willing to pay what you are asking for the car.

5. Closing the deal If I were to sell my Ferrari, the last step is to close the deal. You have to be willing to negotiate from time to time when asking yourself "who will buy my Ferrari." While this does not mean you have to drop

thousands of pounds off of your asking price, you should be willing to work with the potential buyer and drop a few hundred pounds or a thousand.

You want to determine how the buyer is going to pay for the car and then sign the title over to him. Once you have done this, the deal will be done and you will have sold your Ferrari.

Food, Disease, and You

Food, Disease, and You By Sandy Powers

The scenario for fighting diseases and building healthier immune systems with certain foods exists in all cultures. This is not to say we cast aside the marvelous strides in medicines that have been made over the last fifty

years, but your best first defense against disease is nutrition. Healthy nutrition is quite simply back to basics. Wise food choices help fight those beginning cancer cells and prevent that build up of cholesterol in the arteries

while making you feel a whole lot healthier. To begin that path to health, start with Vitamin C.

Vitamin C

Scurvy was the first disease recognized as being caused by a dietary deficiency. Scurvy, caused by a Vitamin C deficiency, with symptoms of bleeding gums, bruising, weakness, aches and pains that often lead to death, was

common among sailors during the 15th and 16th centuries. It was not unusual on long sea voyages for a ship to loose half of its crew to scurvy. In 1747, scurvy-ridden sailors were being treated with lemons and limes through

the efforts of the Scottish naval surgeon James Lind. By 1795, the British Navy added lime juice to the rations of sailors, which was successful in preventing scurvy. Born was the nickname "Limeys" for British sailors.

While today scurvy is not a familiar disease because of the efforts of fortified food, Vitamin C deficiency is still rather common. In the United States, one third of all adults receive less Vitamin C in their diets than is

recommended by the National Academy of Sciences. One out of every six adults get less than one half of the recommended amount. Frequent colds and infections, bleeding gums, poor healing, and lung related problems are

all symptoms of Vitamin C deficiency.

Vitamin C is the most important antioxidant of all the antioxidants because it defends the interior part of our cells against free radicals that provoke diseases like cancer and heart while fighting stress in our bodies. The human

body cannot manufacture Vitamin C, nor can it store it. Vitamin C should be taken through food sources daily, not through a multiple vitamin supplement. Oranges, bell peppers, broccoli, and parsley are excellent sources of

Vitamin C.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D deficiency that is associated with weak bones now has been associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, according to a study recently published in the Journal of the American Heart Association.

"The higher risk associated with Vitamin D deficiency was particularly evident among individuals with high blood pressure," researchers concluded. The study continued, "Low levels of Vitamin D are highly prevalent in the

United States..Twenty to 30 percent of the populationhas moderate to severe Vitamin D deficiency." The research further provided evidence that people who tested low in Vitamin D are 45 percent more likely to have high

triglycerides.

Since few foods are rich in Vitamin D, we must depend upon sunlight as our best source. Sunlight creates Vitamin D on the skin where it is absorbed into the body. The overuse of sunscreens is the main reason for Vitamin D

deficiency. To get your needed dose of Vitamin D, go out daily into sunlight for about 15 minutes without sunscreen. Dont cover your arms. Your skin will convert the sunlight into Vitamin D where it will be stored in your liver

for use. The daily 15 minutes in the sun without sunscreen will not increase your risk of skin cancer.

prices have cut out many of the one Nighters which means fewer and fewer stages for the comic to work on. While this is a bad thing for the comics trying to hit it big it has also raised the bar to get the remaining gigs. The

talent at your local comedy could be at an all time high. So it is a great time to go see some very talented performers.

Many of the headlining comics working the clubs today air max shoesstarted out in the 80s and 90s and have spent years building and refining their acts.

Today they are experienced and can deal with most any event that takes place during the show. These are the people that started out with Tim Allen, Rosie, and Ellen and are still working the comedy clubs and improving

there skills. At the same time the younger acts are working hard to take one of the few headlining spots from the established acts. Some of them are outstanding talents and they have to be great just to compete. They are a

treat to see and now is a great time to see them.

Once the reality craze on television slows down sit coms will make a come back. The new shows will star the acts that are working in the clubs now. The list of successful television shows based on a stand ups material is

endless. It is a formula that has worked over and over, and will again to produce some excellent television shows. You will be the one saying I saw him or her at the comedy club.

2 Suggestions to Get More Out of Your French Holiday

When travelling to a country it is always worth while learning some simple phrases and words to make sure that you are understood. Having travelled to many countries, I can vouch for the fact that the locals appreciate the

fact that you have made an effort to learn and will often go out of their way to ensure that your holiday is a pleasant one.

When in a foreign country, you can either use awholesale Nike shoes guide book, or you can ask the locals. I have tried both in different countries and know that the locals know

where the best restaurants and shopping can be found, giving you a much better experience. And you can make some friends along the way. While I cannot speak fluent French, I can speak enough to make myself

understood, and I can follow most conversations which is extremely handy if you are haggling for bargains. Another trick I use before travelling to a new country that I have not visited before is to buy a cook book with recipes

from that country. In the past I have too often made the mistake of ordering food that sounded exotic, only to be disappointed because I have ordered some thing that I didn't like.

By being pre prepared with recipes from that country, I have a good idea of what I will be looking for on the menu before I arrive. I also know the meals that would not interest me. Keep in mind that in many of your destinations,

the menus will be in the language of that country. Particularly if you leave the big resorts and travel to the rural areas. When heading to Paris, you should take the time to travel through the country side of the South of France

to see how the French really live.

So if you are planning a vacation inchanel 2.55 Paris, the city of love brush up on the language, and have a good idea of the food that awaits you on

your arrival. These 2 simple tips will ensure that you get the most out of your French experience.

Packing Your Luggage: Tips For A Long Trip

Traveling is great fun, but for every trip, the most important step occurs before you leave home. Packing for your trip is a combination of analysis and art form, and the longer that you are gone, the more important it becomes.

No one expects to have the same variety cheap nike shoesof clothes and shoes on the road as they have at home, but it is often difficult to balance what you need with what you

want.

Before heading out on a long trip, think about what you want to carry. If you are adamant about taking no more than what is permitted as carry-on luggage then you will pack in a different way than someone who does not mind

wheeling a luggage cart around the airport. Once you have determined what types of luggage you will take, you can begin to build a packing list.

The Necessities

There are certain things that are mandatory for all trips, regardless of length. Underwear, toiletries and any electronics chargers are at the top of the list. The good thing about these items is that it does not really matter how

long you will be gone, you only need a certain amount of each. Find a pocket on your luggage to pack your electronics chargers, as they will quickly sift to the bottom of your luggage and be impossible to find when you need

them. Next, look at your toiletries and decide which are necessary for your trip. There are many varieties of body wash available, which can be used as both a soap and shampoo. Likewise, many types of toothpaste now have

mouth washed included. Think carefully about what you really need to style your hair as well. Once you have reduced your toiletries to the essentials, package them zip lock bags, or bags specially made for toiletries. You can

easily wash your underwear, and because of this, it is not necessary to pack too much.

What to Wear

Once you have your necessities out of the way; it is time to think about what you want to wear. Start with outerwear. A jacket that is both warm enough for the coldest weather you are likely to encounter, and waterproof is

ideal. No matter how nice you anticipate the weather, plan for extremes, although it is impossible to plan for every possibility. Something to cover head, and clothing that will provide comfort in most extremes should be

included, without taking up to much room in your luggage.

Now you are ready to get down to thechanel essentials. What will you wear every day? It makes sense to take clothing that mixes and matches well with each other. This

increases the number of outfits that you have from the same amount of clothes. It also makes sense to stay within one color scheme. Although you can add color with a variety of tops or scarves that do not take up much

room, pick one neutral, such as black, brown or gray, and build from there. This not only makes it easier to mix and match outfits, it also reduces the numbers of shoes and belts that you need to pack.

How to Pack

Once you have decided on your clothes for the trip, it is time to start packing. If you take your time while you pack, you will be able to fit more clothes into your suitcase than if you just transfer clothes directly from the hanger

or drawer and into your bags. One way to save room in your bags is to roll your clothes rather than fold them. Rolling your clothes allows you to fit more clothes into your baggage, reduces wrinkles, and allows you to tuck

delicate items between sturdier rolls of clothes, offering them protection. Slip shoes in the bottom of the bag, so that they do not squash the rolls.
